Choose a target according to:
- Its stop capacity (bow draw weight)
- The distance (surface of the target)
- Storage
Why buy a target?
An appropriate target can prevent damage to your arrows.
Arrows fly very quickly and must stop over a short distance, which generates a lot of stress on the arrow shaft.
· If the target is too hard, the arrows loses its integrity (cracked shaft, broken nock, damaged arrowhead).
· If the target is too soft, there is a risk of the arrow bypassing the target altogether, and being damaged or lost
We observe that an arrow stops by rubbing the shaft on the target, the arrowhead only serves to create a passage,
it is therefore logical that the arrows bypass the target by several centimetres.
