The nockset, generally formed by metal rings enabling to be positioned at a precise place on the bow string by tightening them using a clip and a square. For beginners, there are often two of these nocksets, one below the nock and the other above it. They must not be too close to the nock (2mm) to avoid clipping of the latter when the archer is in full draw length.
